For your consideration is this Japanese Satsuma - referred to as Yokohama etsuke from the Meiji period (1868-1912). The seal states Nippon Yokohama Imura Zo (Imura Hikotaru b.? - 1897). Decorated in polychrome enamels and gilt over a clear, crackled glaze, delicately painted with beautiful scenes of birds in flight a woman carrying goods on her head, and a warrior with a sword with landscapes in the background.
