- These Kirk Steiff Pewter bookends made to resemble the famous palladian style windows in Thomas Jefferson's Monticello residence, were commissioned … more These Kirk Steiff Pewter bookends made to resemble the famous palladian style windows in Thomas Jefferson's Monticello residence, were commissioned by the Monticello Memorial Foundation and are vintage. The craftsmanship is apparent in the final detailing of the windows in the pewter reproductions. They are in nice vintage condition and measure 5 7/8 inches tall, 5 1/4 inches in width across the wooden back and 2 7/8 inches thick at the base. They have the original stickers on the bottoms. Great gift or present for the American history, early American architecture, presidential history scholar or lover in your life. less
