He devoted 26 years of his life to leading the design department of Ligne Roset. It was in 1973 that the designer designed his most emblematic creation: the Togo sofa. According to Michel Ducaroy, this model is directly inspired by a tube of toothpaste folded on itself. The Togo won the René-Gabriel prize for its undeniable innovation by being the first sofa made entirely of foam. The Togo sofa has a polyester foam structure covered in genuine green leather
