He dedicated 26 years of his life to leading the design department of Ligne Roset. It was in 1973 that the designer designed his most emblematic creation: the Togo sofa. According to Michel Ducaroy, this model is directly inspired by a tube of toothpaste folded on itself. Ducaroy offers several versions of this piece: a sofa (2 or 3 seats) and an ottoman. The Togo won the René-Gabriel prize for its undeniable innovation by being the first sofa made entirely of foam. Ligne Roset has been the exclusive publisher of the Togo sofa since its creation, and it is still in production today. The Togo sofa has a polyester foam structure covered in genuine green leather.
