This was made during the Victorian Aesthetic Movement circa 1880's in Stoke on Trent, England. Marked "A.F. & Co, Foley, Staffordshire." Beautiful transferware ironstone platter with designs in a rusty brown on an antique white background. A lovely addition to your set or for serving special dishes for Thanksgiving and Christmas. This is in wonderful condition, no chips or cracks, very clean, the usual occasional speckle that is found in Foley glaze. Platter measures approx. 12" x 9".
