With the “Eva” model, the designer arrived at a clearly-structured solution in which a high degree of coherence is maintained while the chair appears visually light and open. The structure is made entirely of solid wood with sculpted and tapered legs that are splayed gently, giving stability to the shell body. The legs end in brass caps that accentuate the shape. The elegant simplicity and honesty of the frame is further enhanced by the premium wool blend upholstery which complements both the cosy shape and solid wood legs gracefully. The streamlined shape and soft fabric create not only a modern and elegant look, but also great comfort, preserving the Swedish ideal of “good design” that holds functionality just as high as aesthetics.
