Laurence Lin (“Dr. Winkie”) owned DV8 nightclub at 540 Howard Street back in the 80s-90s, and built a restaurant and bar behind the club and underneath the bus ramp overpass that connects the Bay Bridge to the Transbay Terminal.
This place was called “The Caribbean Zone”, and had a “tiki bar” theme, with waterfalls, thunderstorms, and a plane that crash landed in the jungle.
A former touring plane for the Doobie Brothers rock group was configured both as a prop and as part of the actual seating for the bar, with TV monitors mounted outside the windows, playing a video of the landing approach of the plane.

Please note that the mounting flange adds another 8" of width to the dimensions listed below if used on the wall. less
