He is also well known for his drawn recordings of his time spent in the Dachau concentration camp after being arrested by Nazis for being in a Slovene anti-fascist group. He won many awards including the Prix de Paris, the UNESCO Prize, and the Preseven Award for Lifetime Achievement. less
