The solid walnut frame is in very good shape showing some minor nicks and surface scratches (the worst of which can be seen in the photos provided) but showing no gouges, stains or other damage whatsoever. The original caning is also in very good original condition showing only minor areas of subtle discoloration and can be seen, if barely, in the video provided. With that said both seat and backrest are weight-bearing and structurally sound and show no breaks in the caning. This absurdly gorgeous 811 "Prague" chair is very comfortable, structurally sound and ready for decades more of use.
