For sale one of two super rare, highly collectable, original Mid Century Modern Circa 1960-1970 Cartier Paris Bronze & Brown Leather Writing table Desks This sale is for one desk with the option to purchase two, these are the only time they will be listed for sale, finding one is pretty much a holy grail so finding two I'm not sure what you would class that as They are solid bronze with deep chocolate brown leather writing surfaces, they each have one medium sized drawer to the middle which is signed Cartier, the rear of the desk is also signed Cartier, the style matches the back of the desk so it looks the same from both sides I can't possibly emphasize enough just how special these pieces are, they work in any setting and really elevate a space from being special to couture Condition wise, they date from the 1960-1970's, as such the bronze has a wonderfully aged patina, the tops are similar, we have cleaned waxed and polished them from top to bottom, to my eyes and hands they are period perfect Dimensions Height:- 75cm Width:- 110cm Depth:- 56cm Knee height:- 66cm Please note all measurements are taken at the widest point, if you would like any additional or specific measurements please ask. Condition Please view the very detailed pictures as they form part of the around condition Please note vintage period and original items such as leather seating will always have natural patina in the form of cracking creasing and wear, we recommend regular waxing to ensure no moisture is lost, also hand dyed leather is not recommended to sit in direct sunlight for prolonged periods of time as it will dry out and fade.
