The lamp is signed with the manufacturer's name and the designer's initials on the underside of the base.

the striking ceramic base is finished with a beautiful glaze in an abstract gradient, showcasing a harmonious blend of hues in yellow, brown, and beige. This creates an intriguing texture and depth, adding to the lamp's visual appeal. The drum-shaped shade is newly covered in a smooth, ivory-colored fabric, complementing the base.

the lamp is in very good condition, rewired and with a completely new shade. Currently with a 220v european plug and a standard e26/e27 light fitting. about the designer bruno karlsson (1927-2013) karlsson founded hällinge ceramics in 1951. His career as a designer and sculptor took him to syco, rörstrand, ego stengods and again back to rörstrand before he started his own ceramics studio in lidköping.
