These … more A pair of Gustavian chests of drawers, so-called twin chests of drawers, in a particularly beautiful shape and color. These two pieces come from old Sweden at the turn of the century (1890-1900). The dressers have a light gray/beige (greige) finish and are in top condition. The dimensions are 81 cm high, 85 cm wide and 55 cm deep. The plate is exceptional; it was elaborately manufactured using marble technology in dark grey/black. This painting technique is difficult and only a few old barrel painters mastered this art. An old Swedish consignment note is still stuck to the back of a chest of drawers, indicating its origin from Karlskrona. The price refers to the pair. less
