In the article, I use a Post WWII Pollack as an example of an unbridled exploration into the right brain. What he did on the canvas was groundbreaking, often only dripping paint and simply allowing it to be what it was.
This week, I decided to try the same exercise and in a limited palette of four colors on both the canvas and paper. This mixed media pair is what I came up with. And what did the paint wish to be? Canyon vistas. I’m really happy with the outcome and would be happy to keep it if I had more wall space.
