This mahogany veneer display case, dating from the early 20th century, is a refined example of the cabinetmaking techniques of the period.
It opens with a glass door with a miter-cut frame, highlighted by brass strips, similar to the sides of the furniture.
The door is fitted with an authentic lock with a key and a delicately crafted entrance.
The interior of the display case is entirely covered in red felt, offering an elegant contrast with the dark wood.
Three shelves mounted on racks allow you to arrange various objects in an organized and aesthetic manner.
The piece of furniture is topped with red cherry marble from Belgium, surrounded by an openwork brass gallery.
This marble adds a touch of luxury and sophistication, while being practical for maintenance.
The half-round uprights are roughened throughout their height, adding an interesting visual texture.
The whole thing rests on four massive spinning top legs with brass collars and shoes, ensuring stability and elegance.
This display case is not only a functional piece of furniture, but also a collector's item that testifies to the know-how and aesthetic taste of the early 20th century.
