Made from solid pitch pine and plywood this piece is heavy, solid and well made and will make a useful addition to a kitchen or dining room.
It was made locally in Plymouth by George Davis, cabinet maker and upholsterer, the bottom right hand door bears his brass makers label.
The dresser base has double panelled doors which open to reveal a single removable shelf.
The top section has glazed doors finished with a brass handle which turns to open the doors and reveal the part painted interior with three fixed shelves.
The wood has a darkly waxed finish which has a nice sheen and a good patina.

Condition
