There are two labels that each read "FM" which stands for "Fornem Mobelkunst", and "HJ" which stands for "Hone and Jones LTD" a UK furniture importer. with "New Furniture Made in Denmark". The desk has 2 sections. The top section is not attached and can be completely removed from the lower section. This leaves many configurations available. The top section measures approximately 27-1/2 inches tall, 42-3/8 inches long and 16-3/4 inches deep. The short side measures approximately 6-1/2 inches tall. The lower section measures approximately 25 inches tall, and 21-3/8 inches tall to the top shelf, 41-3/8 inches long and 16-5/8 inches deep. One storage opening is approximately 15 inches wide and the other 24-1/2 inches wide. This piece originally had vertical dividers and a shelf which are all missing. The pieces have some scratches, stains and chips. One screw and bracket are missing from the lower base bottom. less
