Designed by Don Shoemaker for Señal in the 1960s, this utterly sculptural lounge chair is made of highly figured Cocobolo wood, an exotic Mexican hardwood similar to Rosewood. The chair has been outfitted with a brand new, absolutely stunning hair-on-hide sling which brings a delightful bit of rustic contrast against the curvy, sumptuous form of the chair. Super comfy, without having to commit too much. Just as much sculpture as chair. Restored from head to toe.
