Known as scholars' rocks (gongshi), such stones were said to help focus the mind while composing poetry, painting landscapes, or writing calligraphy. This sculptural meditation stone is beautifully patterned with dense striations, swirling inclusions, and mottled coloring of rust, gold and green.
