Charged with the humble task of storing dry goods, this earthenware jar has a tapered form with a narrow base, high shoulders, and a flat rim. Left undecorated, the jar has a quiet beauty, patterned only by firing imperfections and the brushed texture of its mottled slip clay finish. We love this storied vessel as a planter for indoor houseplants.
