A stunning pair of French Art Deco Muller Frères wall sconces made around 1925-1930. The panels show a pack of wolves. These very rare shades are made in thick and partly frosted clear molded glass. Both shades are signed Muller frères Luneville. As the last pictures show the part of the panel with the five wolves is in clear transparent glass. The wolves are frosted on the inside of the shade. The sconces are in very good condition. The shades show some tiny chips and scratches here and there. All consistent with age. And there is one small chip on the rim where the shade falls in it metal mount. The wall lamps are 11,89 inches (30,2 cm) wide. 6,69" (17 cm) high and 3,58" (9,1 cm) deep. The bronze are solid brass mountings are re-nickeled. And the sconces are rewired with American candelabra base sockets.
