The … more This vintage early 1970's Lefton brass reindeer and sleigh is a substantial piece that is sure to draw attention. The detail on the reindeer is unequaled in today's mass produced world. Santa's sleigh has a cherub face on the front of it for those that collect unique cherub or angel items. This item weighs tens pounds total, with the reindeer itself weighing 5 lbs. This piece was kept in a curio cabinet for over 40 years. During the holiday it was displayed proudly as a center piece with a Christmas arrangement in the sleigh or under the tree with miniature presents. Our beloved aunt never used it as a candy dish; likely because it was a prized possession and she didn't want the children near it. It looks beautiful as a centerpiece or a mantle piece. It is solid brass so it does not damage easily. It's decorative potential is limited only by the imagination. The piece does have some patina on it, new owner could polish it up but we feel it enhances the detail.

This piece when fully assembled measures 10 1/4"H x 23"L x 4"W. It is actually 5 pieces in total, and just hooks together and the body of the sleigh sits in the rails. less
