Bring a beautiful equestrian touch to your gallery wall with this original oil on canvas board painting of a grey hunter horse in a pastoral landscape by Gilbert Acheson Cattley (British, 1896-1978). This painting is signed G.A. Cattley and dated 1944 in the lower right corner. It is finished in a distressed gilded gesso frame under glass. The back of this piece has the inscription ‘The Grey Duke, pedigree unknown, 1937-1949.’
· 21.5” wide x 16” tall framed size; 19” wide x 13.5” tall artwork size
