This exceedingly well-crafted American of Martinsville louvered slat front drawer highboy dresser was designed by Merton Gershun for his Dania collection, features the mid-century style and construction quality that keep these pieces in such high demand today. Beautiful all original walnut figuring and color, accented by satin brass hardware. Unique design with wonderful clean lines, three lower sculpted design slat front drawers without hardware, and classic brass pulls on three individual deep box top drawers, with a hidden flush, compartmentalized, felt lined drawer above, authentication stamp (American of Martinsville) on the interior drawer, brass trimmed on stretcher, adds to its unique style. Condition Report: Original finish, with minor wear and light use indicators, small loss of veneer to each side, on bottom back edge, with repair patches, overall nice surface condition.
