The artist's chopmark stamp is found on the right lower corner of the piece. The print is displayed in an off-white mat and black wooden frame.

Masaharu Aoyama was a Japanese artist who studied at the Tokyo School of Fine Arts. He was a student of ink painting and his work was connected with the Sosaku Hanga movement. Aoyama worked in the Imperial Household Museum until 1939. less
