Description: These three chairs were designed and made for a specific client in Vienna, Austria. They were purchased in the Grinzing … more These three chairs were designed and made for a specific client in Vienna, Austria. They were purchased in the Grinzing District which was known for its active support of artistic pursuits in Vienna. They are made of hard wood that has been painted brown using a technique known as " Schleiflack ". from a design stand point they represent early modernism. If you examine the photos there are many details that are unique to these chairs. If you choose to use them as is, i would recommend a light sanding. Of course one may repaint them in a colour pallet from the 1930 s. The weight of each chair is approx. 4.5 kilos. less
