John Winkler (1890-1979). "Light Alley" San Francisco Chinatown etching on paper. Pencil signed.
Winkler studied at the California Institute of Arts and created his first etching in 1915. During the following years, he established a large national reputation for his etchings, the great majority being depictions of San Francisco and its environs.
