Superb hand made quality, fine carvings done in Louis XV style, elegantly curved arms and legs. Edges of the back rest are carved all around, wonderful flowers top the back rest. Made in France, early to mid 20th, in desirable 19th century look, with later added quality floral upholstery. The condition of the structure is good, the upholstery shows light age / use wear, seat pillow case is removable (please see photos). Size is great for house or the apartment at 27" wide x 28" deep x 38" tall back, while the seat height is approx 20" to top of the cushion. Gorgeous looking chair will be a great addition to any setting, traditional or mid-century modern! less
