A George Zee Masterpiece chest of drawers hand made of solid wood. We believe this piece is made of rosewood but can't be 100% certain. Exquisitely carved in the Ming dynasty style with symbols of 'Longevity'. The detailing is just of the right level - simple and elegant. Brass handles on each of the six drawers. Two top smaller top drawers and four larger lower drawers. Made in the former British colony of Hong Kong on Nathan Road, Kowloon.
Markings: Factory plaque mounted to back as shown.
Age: 1950s. A superb and heavy piece of furniture.
Condition: Very good to excellent, only light signs of wear present. A few very small markings to the top. No repairs or damage to note.
