The painting is an oil painting on hardboard panel, varnished for protection. The solid wood frame has a lovely lace-like pattern with a lot of interesting wear and tear that gives the frame some history. There are areas that the paint has chipped and a few dings on the corners. The inner gold leaf border has some of the red bole showing. We feel this adds interest and character. The overall size of the piece is 14"x16" with the inner painting at 8"x10". Ready to hang, signed on the back. less
