American modernist set of three (x3) handcrafted metal candleholders in nickeled copper, created by famed metal-smith Thomas Roy Markusen (American, b.1940) in the late 1970s within the United States. All pieces are marked. Great vintage condition - minor wear and oxidation to smaller unit - please see photos and video. Markusen was commissioned to create a pair of these candle holders for the White House collection of contemporary arts.
