Italian console from the 1950s, designed by Paolo Buffa, one of the most prolific designers of the 20th century with a modern and functional style.
The design of the console has important elements of the Empire style.
The top is a fabulous slab of Arabescato Vaglia Marble, characteristic for having a dark gray reticulated vein with scarlet red details.
Under the top we find a waist drawer veneered in rosewood with a small medallion-shaped handle.
The legs are scissor-shaped made of gold metal. The crossing of legs is reinforced by a metal retainer in the shape of an elongated and thin baluster.
It is a piece of resounding elegance. It is ideal for a hall thanks to its small dimensions. This piece has an attribution mark,
