It is marked underneath and is part of the 2000-Series.
This iconic object, which can also be used as seating object, is a bold representation of Pop art aesthetics. It is shaped like a large black foot. The shape is a playful and unconventional design that captures the essence of the experimental spirit of Gaetano Pesce, who opposed purely functional design.
At the end of the 1960s he made his name with the Up-Series, consisting of 7 chairs made of polyurethane foam.
This foot is part of this Up-Series and is also made of polyurethane foam, an innovative material at the time.
