JOY BIDDLE - American, 1928-2007

Joy Biddle, 79, of Pool Road, died at Maine Medical Center on June 21, 2007.

Joy was born June 21, 1928, in Cambridge, Mass., the daughter of Stephen M. Biddle Sr. and Helen Pattee Biddle. She graduated from Brimmer and May School in Boston, Garland Junior College in Boston with an Art degree, and attended Gaucher College in Baltimore, Md.

Joy loved the arts and was a Founding Mother of Women Singing Out and a Founding Mother of Women in Harmony. She was a past member of several Art Associations, a member of Chorus Shore, and a strong supporter of Maine Public Broadcasting Network. Joy loved singing and harmonizing in her choir group. She was also a member of the Unitarian Church in Kennebunk. less
