This striking hand-blown art glass bowl by Andrew Madvin, produced at Axiom Glass in Detroit, features a deep emerald green/dark teal color that transitions from a lighter shade at the base to a darker hue at the top. The bowl is finished with a silver rim and supported by clear glass spikes, which enhance its bold design and create an eye-catching focal point. The artist’s signature is etched on the bottom of one of the spikes, ensuring authenticity.
A small 3 mm nodule on the rim, typical in hand-blown glass, adds to its handcrafted character. Each piece showcases its individuality, with unique characteristics such as subtle bubbles that highlight the artistry of hand-blown glass.
