Varius by Oscar Tusquets for BD Barcelona, 2022 The chair played yesterday and will play into tomorrow. Like a tuned Violin, Stradivarius. Its critical acclaim and commercial success kickstarted a new era of contemporary Spanish design. Loved for decades, the design is considered and remarkably adaptable. Stackable. Strong. Lasting. It stayed in tune. Based on the Stradivarius Violin but built to fit everywhere. This chair was brought back for its new finishes and styles. It is staying because it has a character of its own, now fit for every floor. The Varius plays again.
