We have cleaned waxed and polished it from top to bottom, as you can see the top and back has sun fading, the desk needs to have the finish removed, the wood can then be washed back and stained the polished again, by French polisher only works with traditional antiques so he doesn't know how to do this, as such I am passing the mantle to someone else who has restorers from this century in their stable!
