The entire chair exudes a wonderfully old patinated finish. Interestingly, this piece is associated with Cold Overton Hall in England. It was formerly in the collection of C. Kenneth Binns, a very well known figure in the British antiques trade and was auctioned off as a part of his estate by Christies in 1990. These details only add to the piece's value. There is a larger separation in the seat that is at least 34 years old (I am guessing much older) because you can see it in the pic from 1990. There are other various imperfections, minor cracks, losses and scratches that one would expect to find on a genuine piece of this age. less
