Fantoni was born in Florence, Italy. He was a passionate ceramic artist, who at the age of 12, attended the Art Institute of Florence. By 1934, he’d graduated as a maestro of art. Fantoni’s creative combination of ancient Italian pottery techniques with Modernist design elements earned him both artistic and commercial success in Italy and abroad. Every Fantoni piece was ultimately rendered unique by his hand-painting it.

Today, we bring you this lovely pair of male and female portraits reflecting the late 17 century Europe. This pair would be a beautiful combination for a wall arrangement or as stand alone hangings. One could also present these on a shelf or table top.
