These were used from the late 17th Century through the 19th Century to carry wine and spirits. Handblown, each has their own unique characteristics, from the tilt of the gooseneck to the trapped air bubbles which vary in size and impart eye catching interest. There are traces of oxidation from the former contents of each bottle, which also add interest. The bottles have rough edges at the mouth. Although this one has a seam up the side like machine made glass, we believe it to be an antique. If you need more than one, please refer to our others, reference #0623-N19A and C. less
