Exceptional and rare McGuire modern organic rattan sofa. Crafted in the California coastal organic modern style by McGuire artisans from pencil reed rattan. The large frame has gracefully curved arms with distinctive open fretwork designs of x-patterns. The sofa has fitted loose seat cushions that are thick and plush upholstered with an Alcantara style fabric in a buttercream tone. The exposed joints are lashed together with cream toned leather rawhide laces. The thick bundled rattan frames have a lovely aged, distressed patina on the finish. The organic modern style of the sofa is grounded in natural materials. Sturdy and strong with excellent joinery and craftsmanship. From an estate in Santa Barbara, CA.
