An artisan metal vase with stand made by the American artist Lester Boronda (1886-1953). Shaped like a pomegranate, the vase is held in an iron stand with four legs.
Born in California, Boronda studied art at the Mark Hopkins Institute in San Francisco under Arthur Matthews. He later attended the Art Students League in New York where he studied under Frank DuMond.
