Mid-Century Modern period original coffee table, designed by William Watting, produced by Fristho, the Netherlands, 1950s. Model Name- "Acrilan". A very special design due to the organic warm walnut wood combined with a transparent glass top. The center shows a beautiful solid brass detail. Very decorative due to the organic design and elegant due to its tapered wooden legs. This table is documented in the book “Fristho ‘Vooruitstrevende meubelen, 1921-1978'” by Bert Looper, page 129 (2014). In very good vintage condition. The glass plate shows some very small signs of use, but no minor damages. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
however it is well documented in design history. I take full responsibility for any authenticity
