Rare large dish by ceramist Louis Giraud (1896-1985).
This creation can be used as a wall plaque or table centerpiece.
The dish is heavy and of remarkable quality.
Louis Giraud trained Alexandre Kostanda and Pyot Gavaudan. Born in 1897, Louis Giraud is a renowned Vallaurian painter and ceramist.
He participated in the "golden age of Vallauris" alongside the greatest artists of his time, such as Derval, Portanier, Innocenti, Picasso\.
where he runs an art pottery manufacturing Art Deco works and utility ceramics. When he died in 1985, he left behind a rich and varied body of work.
