The ph 5 was … more The ph 5 lamp is an icon of danish design that has gained immense popularity worldwide. The ph 5 was designed by the outstanding designer and architect poul henningsen in 1958 and is still manufactured by louis poulsen today. The shape of the lamp was designed based on the principle of a reflective system, which directs the light not only downwards, but also to the sides, while illuminating the lamp itself. Thanks to its structure, the ph 5 gives a diffused and non-glare light in a warm tone.
