Unique set of 3 Samuel Parker Sun-RA RA lamps! Intriguing playful design in shapes, materials and colors. Made in Italy and dated late 80s, early 90s. In 1994 the name Samuel Parker srl. changed into Slamp s.p.a. The lamps are made of Opalflex (a patented innovation of Parker), metal and flexibel leather on the sides. Included are colored filters that you can slide into the lamp to create different atmospheres. The colors are green, blue and yellow. Unfortunatly, two yellow slides have cracks and 1 blue filter for the smallest lamp is missing. Nevertheless they are impressive! Measures: Nr.1 Height 66 cm Width 36,5 cm Depth 20 cm Nr.2 Height 44,5 Width 31 Depth: 20 Nr.3 Height 30 Width 23 Depth 15 Samuel Parker is industrial designer and began his career with well-known design companies such as Philips and Dyson. He then established his own design studio and worked on projects for clients around the world. Samuel Parker's designs are often characterized by their elegant simplicity, clever use of materials and attention to detail. He is passionate about exploring new technologies and production methods to create innovative products that improve people's lives. He developed the patented Opalflex, where these lamps are made of. Samuel Parker has won several awards for his work, including the Red Dot Design Award, the Good Design Award and the iF Design Award. His designs have also been shown at prestigious design exhibitions around the world. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
