Superb and elegant "eva" high armchair, designed by the acclaimed swedish designer kerstin hörlin-holmquist in 1958 for nordiska kompaniet (nk) as part of the triva series. It epitomises scandinavian modernism at its finest. With its graceful, curved silhouette and soft lines, the armchair offers both aesthetic beauty and exceptional comfort.

during her career, hörlin-holmquist created modernist and elegant furniture for numerous swedish design companies, including nk, nordiska galleriet, and möbel ab. She is best known for her "cocoon" chair (1959), which won the design competition organized by the swedish magazine bonnier's weekly in 1959.
hörlin-holmquist also designed interiors for public and private buildings, including the swedish embassy in new delhi and the swedish ambassador's residence in tokyo.
she passed away on november 17, 1997, in stockholm, sweden, at the age of 72. Today, her creations are considered classics of swedish design and are exhibited in museums around the world. I have official proof of authenticity such as vintage catalogs,
