This pitcher has substantial weight. It begins to burgeon in size 1.5” from the top. It is a stunning piece with its fabulous pink glass handle. The raised “ribbing” effect of the glass extends below the lip to the bottom. Between each of the “ribs” is 1/2” of smooth glass. The inside of the pitcher is smooth glass. This “ribbing” makes the glass look beveled.
