Iconic Danish design hanging lamp designed by the famous Poul Henningsen and in 1979 and 1984 revisited by Sophus Frandsen and Ebbe Christensen for Louis Poulsen of Denmark.
This 1980s model of the famous Charlottenborg was designed specifically for the Aarhus concert hall – the Musikhuset.
This pendant is made from aluminum shades that are held together with aluminum struts. It has a blue shade within the lamp to further diffuse the light.
The lamp is in good condition. It has some scratches and spots, on the top of the top shade is a larger damage. This is not visible when the lamp is in use. The shades have some ripples on the edges, the top shade has a slightly larger dent where the damage is. This is hardly visible when the lamp is in use. But do please see the photos for this. The overall look is very good. This piece has an attribution mark,
