There is a Virginia maker's mark at the … more Here is a primitive antique horse plantation saddle, circa early 20th century. There is a Virginia maker's mark at the bottom of each saddle flap. This custom-made saddle brings a mix of warmth and texture to a primitive or equestrian home.
· 17” seat x 17” tall pommel to bottom of flap; sits approximately 12” wide at outside edges of flaps.
· Antique condition, for décor use only: this piece could be improved with restoration, sells as-found; saddle has been reconditioned with newer rigging, however, original iron stirrup bars are still intact; leather has cracking, distressing, scratches, scuffs, stains and other wear marks throughout.
