These gorgeous corner cabinets were hand-picked in person in China by us from top-tier vendors, which is what we did for all of our pieces 3 times per year. Lines proportions and design are always harmonious and inspiring with these Chinese pieces from 18th and 19th century. These cabinets are late 19th century from Shanxi, China. This pair has been refurbished. It has new hardware: bullet hinges that allow the doors to come off easily. They are a gorgeous black lacquer with brown tones showing through. They are finished with a clear Chinese lacquer that seals everything in and really protects the piece. They are meant to be used. They are fully functional and sturdy. They originally retailed in our store for $12,000 for the pair. They were returned to us (no request for refund) when our customer moved out of the country, after owning them for three or four years. less
